ViaSat AN/PSC-14(C) BGAN Integrated Terminal Receives Inmarsat Case Approval : Only Rugged Terminal Providing Portable BGAN SATCOM and Network Encry

CARLSBAD, Calif. (Business Wire EON) September 3, 2008 -- BGAN is the world's first mobile communications service to deliver simultaneous voice and broadband IP data to a portable device across most of the world's landmass. BGAN terminals support standard IP speeds of up to half-a-megabit per second and streaming IP data rates of up to 256 kbps.

National Security Agency certification for the secure BGAN terminal is pending. The AN/PSC-14(C) is complemented by the ViaSat VRT-100 that provides voice and IP services without encryption to enable rugged communication for commercial and military operations.
